Personal Reasons List
It is always a good idea to reinforce why you are participating in a certain activity and in exercise this is paramount.
A personal reasons list is a list completely specific to you in which you will note down every reason you can think of for why you want to exercise. These reasons can be absolutely anything, for example, “I want to be more confident in my physical appearance” or “I want to live a long and healthy life and lower my risk of illness”.
Take time and give lots of thought when completing this list: the more you put into it the more you will get out of it. When exercising gets tough, loses its appeal and glamour your personal reasons list will be there to powerfully motivate and drive you on.
